Colorful Canvas Paintings (and More!) For Sale to Brighten Your New Year!

Greetings — and wishing you all a wonderful, meaningful, blessed and joyous New Year!

Below are a number of pre-made artwork and prints I currently have for sale. This time of year, especially, I appreciate any and all sales! Also, if you have an upcoming wedding this year, please consider moving forward now with ordering from my many personalized wedding/anniversary gift products.

Here is a link to get you started in browsing/selecting the piece you think would best suit the engaged couple:

If you would like to purchase any of the pieces shown below, please message me!

The first items for sale are canvas originals (samples painted for themed painting parties). Since I can lead a class using a print (and then, would get ANOTHER original painted canvas…and on and on…) it would be helpful for me to sell these separately, rather than saving them here for potential parties. I also have links under each where you can purchase prints/cards on Etsy created from the original painting.

I have been doing a lot of work trying to move forward in hosting painting parties in my studio. I believe it may be the best key to my success here, since it presents an opportunity to get additional income from easily-repeatable events and to draw in people from the community. Not only can I earn income through teaching/hosting these creative events, but those who visit my studio may end up browsing around and purchasing items or commissioning portrait work or custom framing.

If you are on social media and would be so kind as to like/follow my Painting Party page and then to share with your Facebook friends, I would truly appreciate it. Through social media, you may have friends living in my area of Central Pennsylvania who might like/follow through your sharing online, and eventually your friends may see a painting party that interests them and their friends! On that Facebook Business page, you can browse over “Scheduled Events” where I have scheduled in the various painting themes on certain dates. It’s been a lot of work and so far, all of them have not had any response and therefore have been cancelled. I will gradually keep re-listing, in hopes that I would get some response.

I did meet a woman (Dawn) who lives two miles from me who does some art and has previously led painting parties. She has been helping me on occasion in my studio and gardens, as needed, and we’ve been developing a friendship around art — which is fun! I did list some of her painting party ideas on my website and Facebook Parties Page and in November, she led a painting party here in my studio with a “Snowman” design that my neighbor’s granddaughter and friends selected. I was available to watch/assist, and you can see a video from the event below!

Though some of the listed events on social media are parties Dawn might lead, it still benefits me to draw people in and perhaps might lead to me doing a different party with the same folks at another time. My party designs do tend to be more complex, somewhat…it is just hard for me (with my painting experience and also having taught art in the past) to keep things “too simple!”

I assure those with interest that I can guide participants through it–even though it may look too difficult! Also, if you are far away and interest in having a group of friends paint in your home, and can get a minimum of 10 people to contribute $25 toward me creating a video tutorial that the group can use (and more than once, if you are part of a church, for example and hosted something yearly for women, etc) please contact me for more information. Of course, you would then need to provide your own supplies/work space in wherever you are, but…it is an idea!

I am also willing to travel within about a two-hour radius to bring a painting party to your home, work location or church! A travel fee may apply depending on distance and number of participants. Please contact me for more information.

The “Cateprism” painting idea is really fun…and with this one (as well as the “Groovy Groundhog”) I would provide a printable outline that participants could trace from, so it only involves painting. That is, for those in the group who would be intimidated with the drawing aspect. Actually, the Cateprism took me awhile to draw/sketch. It was formed by two different ad images I saw on Facebook…one involved colorful cats and the other interlocking horses on a sweater! The images caught my attention, and I later did this piece which doesn’t look anything exactly like the inspirations…and is really cute.

If you or others who may be in my area (or wish to do something remotely) have a specific idea for a painting party, I would gladly create something for your group. I’m thinking that especially, church ladies’ groups might be interested in something inspirational involving painted words or Christian-themed paintings that would be simple for all to follow. If you want to see an easy overview of these painting party offerings, you can also view on another of my new websites here Themed Party Ideas Website Link–this gives a quick at-a-glance look, whereas the social media page to like/follow has the benefits of notifications of scheduled parties.

Thanks for reading, browsing and sharing with your friends! Have a great week —

Eileen
