I recently finished an original floral painting of “Sunflowers With Butterfly.” It is a mixed media work (mostly watercolor, with some guache and acrylic paints on the top details) and is based on a photograph I took in my gardens when I lived in Alabama.
It’s been a long while since I’ve done an original floral piece (the original is 22 x 30 inches on heavy Arches watercolor paper) and I enjoyed the process and challenge. For floral lovers, at the end of this piece I will include links to some of my older works that are on Etsy. Spring is coming and floral art and cards make beautiful gifts for Easter, Mother’s Day or “Everyday!”
I am hoping to easily find a “forever home” for this new work. The price of the artwork only is $525, including shipping. Matting and custom framing is also available; due to the size if you are not within driving range of me, purchasing the artwork only (or getting it matted only) and obtaining a frame in the state where you live is most practical.
